Drawing Near

Hello to All,

Sorry I didn't get back to post more cards, but we have a family wedding and it is drawing near. It is only 10 days away, and we still have lots of work to do. Our second son is getting married to a wondeful girl, and they have chosen to have the ceremony in our very new garden. So with lots of soar grass and little water it has been a challenge. When the wedding is over I will post some photo's, so you can decide whether we got rid of enough soar grass or not.

Today we had our local stamp club and we made a Criss Cross card. Tutorial found on splitcoaststampers.

Card Recipe: All Stampin' Up! Products
Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Fabulous Flowers, B/G Sanded
Cardstock: Choc Chip, Soft Sky, Very Vanilla
Inks: Choc Chip, Soft Sky
Accessories: Corner Punch, Round Tab Punch,5/8 gross grain ribbon, pretties kits, brads, dimensions, snail, crystal effects.

Another card from the Stamp Camp. This one was created by Robyn.

Stamps: Looks Like Spring

Inks: Old Oliver, Brocade blue
Accessories: 1/4 gross grain ribbon.

Thank you Rob, a simple card, but very effective.
Getting late,so I'm off to bed.

Stamp Camp Success

What can I say, the Stamp Camp was a great success. We stamped, scrapped and made many different cards. There was 15 of us, and everyone created many different items, and some even accomplished tasks that they had to finish.

We all started to arrived Friday afternoon, set ourselves up, and started creating. We had drinks and nibbles, then enjoyed hot soup, finger food, and a lovely fruit platter.

The Murray Down Resorts catered for the weekend, and the food was amazing and loads of it. Our rooms were great, large and comfortable. Not that we spent much time in them, to busy.

We held a competition over the weekend to raise money f
or Relay for Life (Jacaranda Jems)
and we raised over $300-. Fantastic effort - Thank you .

I would like to thank many local business's for their generous support it making this successful

Back from Holidays

I am back from holidays, and feels like I have never been away.

Straight back into work, and workshops. Not that I am complaining about the workshops, they are the best.

Our holiday to Perth was great. The weather was fantastic, an amazingly pretty place. Just sad to have missed the wild flowers. Kings Park was one of my favorite spots and Fremantle. We visited the Prison, at Fremantle, that place was impressive. Can't believe it only closed 17 years earlier. If you get a chance go see it.

I would like to congratulate Mel for signing up her first member to her Team, Welcome Jodie.
Mel has also just created her blog, its great, visit http://stampinupmel.blogspot.com/

Look forward to some tips Mel.

A big congratulations to Donna and Trevor on the arrival of their beautiful baby boy "LOGAN" a new little brother for Noah and Tom. Everyone is well.

Finally our Stamp Camp has arrived. We will all meet at the Murray Downs Resort on Friday afternoon, and Stamp, Scrap and Card make away all weekend. (can't wait)
We are also holding a fund raiser for Relay for Life, so anyone who wants to donate just contact myself. Thanks.

I will upload pictures and creations after the weekend.
