Card Holder

I was sent an idea from a friend Janine, who thought I might like to try. I changed the size a little to fit the Australian A4 SU Card Stock. Thought I would use Christmas D/S paper and colours to turn this gift card holder into a Christmas one to fit the up coming event. This can so easily be made into any style and made to suit the person you are giving it too.

This is the inside, where the gift card is placed

The front, so you can see its so cute and very easy.

All the measurements and how to make it are on my new Stampin' Up website.

http://www.nyobre.stampinup.net

This site will have new ideas and all the SU promotions that are current. Access to the new Mini Summer on the 1st December. You can contact me through the site or just give me a call.

Hope you enjoy it.

Christmas Card Day at Murray Downs Resort.

Yesterday we had our day at Murray Downs Resort. It was extremely hot, but our setting was fabulous. We were in an air conditioned room looking out onto the pool, surrounded by palms and many happy swimmers. And we all stamped on merrily getting our cards finished. We enjoyed Morning Tea of Scones jam and cream. Had a wonderful lunch of cold meats and many salads and hot spuds with sour cream, and afternoon tea we had many different slices. So it wasn't a day for the diet. Here are a few shots from the day.

Linda, Who didn't have the best start of the day (had a flat tyre). Sue and Debra (1st time at a SU event) having a great time.

Naomi, Bev (Happy Birthday Bev) and Hilda, who have mastered the techniques.

Vicki, Kate and Daeanna, fastest girls on the circuit. Finished early they wanted to stamp on a candle.

Carole, Loreto and Merrilyn (oops I cut the wrong size red circle) having a great time

Bev and Naomi they were cruisin'.

Kristin and Susan (my newest downline SU Demonstrator) Welcome aboard, you will love your time with Stampin' Up!

Cheryl and Julie having a wonderful time. They were waiting for Rhonice who came in time for lunch.

This is Rhonice, Rhonice was amazing she completed all her cards with a little coaching from her partners in half the day. Well Done.

Tricia and Christine, this was their first SU event also. Trica came all the way from Echuca and Chrsitine from Manangatang. welcome and I hope you both had a great day.

So you can see we all had a really good time and everyone completed all there cards, and many also completed a cardle or 2, which was a workshop WOW from Regionals, Melbourne 2009.

Hooray

I have just finished cutting up card stock for 364 Christmas Cards. Thanks to Sue who helped for a couple of hours also. Now the embellishments and the bagging, so nearly there.

Another couple of photos from Regionals. Donna K, my upline set me a sales target and I reached it. This is Donna and myself with the gift that Donna gave me. Thank you so much.

I had to do a short presentation at the Regionals in Melbourne. This is just to prove that I did do it. I was so nervous, but my good friends had faith. I just hope I helped a few out there with getting a few more workshops. I thank Hollie from the Sydney Stampin' Up! Office for having faith in me also, and giving me the opportunity to go way way outside my confort zone.

Sue enjoying her most favorite sweets in the world. You Go Girl !

The Regionals took place at The Crown Casino in the Promenade Building, So we were in really lovely surroundings, nothing but the best.

Thought I would share with you a few photos that were snapped over the day.

More for Regionals

Here is another swap for regionals, its a book mark. You put it on the corner of your page.
I cut my cardstock 3 1/2' x 3 1/2", then scored diagonal, to both lots of corners.
Then cut out 1 triangle. Cut a little more than on the score line, so when you go to fold on the other lines, it will fold very neatly.

Cardstock cut at 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" , then scored diagonally.

With one triangle cut out, a little more than on the score line.

Fold on score lines, and stick down. Decorate as you wish.
The following picture is the one I have done for my swap.

The following swap is a sweet little pocket that can be used to put in sweets or any little trinket for a small gift or thank you.

Take a piece of 6" x 6" piece of Designer series paper

Fold in half

Then fold over to one side with a straight edge at the top

Then fold in the opposite way

Fold down single triangle to hold it all together and form the pocket.

Let your imagination run wild and decorate. I used the Level 1 Hostess 6 x 6 designer series paper, and made some little Christmas pockets.

Hope you enjoy making them.

Finally Back

Request for recipe of the little handbag. They are so easy Kaylene, you won't think I'm clever anymore.

Cut scraps of card stock 5" x 1 1/2", then score at 1 1/2", 2 1/2" and 4".
Then use your corner rounder punch and punch the 2 front corners. (the shortest distance to the first score line. 1")
Stamp with Boho background in black.
Then cut a piece of basic black cardstock 5" x 3/8".
Adhere to middle of handbag base. Don't score this piece, just fold as you stick it down to the handbag.
To hold together I used 1 flower from the Trio flower punch, and 1 brad. I pierced hole through all layers, then added brad. For the handle, use a small piece of basic black grosgrain 1/4" ribbon. Pierce a hole on either side of the cardstock at the front, on the fold line, thread ribbon through and tie a small know. Do this before you add the brad.

Hope that makes sense to you all. I thank splitcoaststampers and other bloggers for all the ideas.

Cardstock cut size. Then scored at measurements.

Showing where to put holes and corner rounder for corners.

Regional Swaps

I have been trying to come up with something different for my Regional swaps, and have put a few different things together. What do you think? Please give me your opinion. I know any little thing that you don't make yourself and someone else does the thinking, its great, but not sure. Trying to use scraps as well, so you all get an idea for using your scraps up.

These are gorgeous little hand bags, that you can put sweet in and give to your friends or the kids can give them to their teachers for end of term presents. Easy and fun to make.

This one is a sachet of drinking chocolate, wrapped with a Christmas cheer. Another great way to use up scraps, and to put your punches to work.

Outside cover for a Tic Tac box. Great way to dress up a packet of tic tac or any lollies you may wish. I have used punches again, and the fabulous D/S papers 6 x 6 that you get FREE when you qualify for a Level 1 hostess gift.

Inside, you just have to measure your lolly box.

I'm still working on a couple more so will post them when I have finished. Have a go, and see what you can come up with.
