Finally

I have finally finished my Conference make and takes. I really enjoyed them all, but the Mates foldout scrapbook pages really took my fancy. I have had a couple of days off work due to a bad back, so I have had time to print off a few photos from conference to complete this scrapbook page.
The photos are off my friends that went to conference. We are dressed in our glam outfits, and off to the dinner/awards night.
These are the two top pages of the scrapbook page.
These next two pictures are the bottom two pages on the scrapbook page.
This is the full page layout. Then you simply fold it all up and then you have a great little book.
Here is the cover.
Thanks for looking,

Holidays

I am home from holidays in Tassie. Couldn't keep the posts up as I didn't have wireless coverage. So will finish off now. Had a great 4 days in Hobart, visiting Salamanca Markets, Botanical Gardens, Battery Point and various other places. Headed off to Port Arthur for a huge day exploring the Port and staying on for the Ghost tour. No ghosts thank goodness. Left Hobart and headed off to Strahan. That was a long winding 5 hours, but still very interesting and very pretty. Enjoyed 3 days in wet Strahan. Travelled the railway and sailed the Gordon river cruise. Both fabulous and well worth it. All I can say the poor convicts, glad I wasn't one.

This is Sue and I set for the Ghost tour. It was a little cool that evening. We make for a great picture, not. We left Strahan, the day we were to catch the boat home. It had rained for 3 days, so it was quite wet. We got the news that roads had been cut. We were luck, just got through from Zeehan and then the road was closed. Headed to Burnie, had a little shopping spree, and got a parking fine. Thank you Burnie. Off to Devonport to catch the boat home. Rough seas, not happy, a few drugs helped the trip home. Docked at 7.oo am and headed off for our 4 hours journey home. We had a great time, thank you Sue for going with me.

It's back home and back to work. I hopefully will be able to remember all the information I received at the Stampin' Up! conference so I can pass onto my down-line and my many customers. Also I will be gathering all our information of our trip, so I can do a little scrap-booking. Thanks for looking sorry I couldn't keep it up to date.

Hobart

We have arrived in Hobart, after leaving Ross and travelling through Oatlands and Richmond. They are the most beautiful old towns, and of course we had to do a little shopping. I purchased a cake stand for my daughters wedding, and also another very strange item, can't let the cat out of the bag as its also for the wedding. The bridges are in these towns are amazing, very clever convicts (poor buggers) many hours of hard labor.
This is the bridge at Campbell Town, the bridges at Ross and Richmond are better but haven't transferred them yet. Even though this is still lovely.

Check this out, these carvings have been carved with a chain saw, by a local of Legerwood.
Trees were planted in memory of locals who went to war. When the trees became to big and dangerous they had to be cut down, so this clever guy made a memorial by carving figures of the soldiers and their families. Amazing.

Hope you are all still stamping away, don't forget the May special. Buy 3 packs of designer series paper and get one free. Email me if you wish to place an order.

More Photos

I have returned, back on line traveling around Tassie sometimes we don't have wireless connection. Sue and I travelled to St. Helens then onto Ross. What a fabulous little place. One look here and we decided it was a 2 night stay. I have mounted all my new stamps from Conference and they are ready to go.
This picture is of Donna (my up-line) and myself enjoying breakfast before heading off to our 2nd day of conference.
This is me on stage in top 25 Demonstrators 2009 in Australia. Far right. It's a great thrill and I'm very honoured to be on stage with all these other demonstrators.

I will be back in a day or so with a few more pictures and will let you know whats happening on our trip.

Canberra Conference 2009

I have just spent the last 4 days in Canberra attending the annual Stampin' Up! conference. Canberra turned the weather on for us, it was great, sunny days, and cool nights.
I had a wonderful time with my friends, Sue, Donna, Mel and Jodie, all Stampin' Up! crazy craft ladies. We had many sessions learning about stamping techniques and sharing ideas.
We all made many swaps and handed them out to others and them in return giving us some new ideas.
Shelli and her team came out from America to share with us all (450 approx) the new ideas and techniques. Also we have been informed of new changes within the company, that we as demonstrators will share with you our customers.

Here are a couple of pictures of the conference.

This is Shelli (co-founder, owner) of Stampin' Up! giving her presentation. She was fabulous.
How did you guess, I am here with Shelli. A highlight of the conference. Thanks Sue who took this great picture.

I will be back each day to let you all know more. At this very moment Sue and I are traveling around Tassie, so will fill you in about our trip as well.

Happy Stamping to all
