More for Regionals

Here is another swap for regionals, its a book mark. You put it on the corner of your page.
I cut my cardstock 3 1/2' x 3 1/2", then scored diagonal, to both lots of corners.
Then cut out 1 triangle. Cut a little more than on the score line, so when you go to fold on the other lines, it will fold very neatly.

Cardstock cut at 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" , then scored diagonally.

With one triangle cut out, a little more than on the score line.

Fold on score lines, and stick down. Decorate as you wish.
The following picture is the one I have done for my swap.

The following swap is a sweet little pocket that can be used to put in sweets or any little trinket for a small gift or thank you.

Take a piece of 6" x 6" piece of Designer series paper

Fold in half

Then fold over to one side with a straight edge at the top

Then fold in the opposite way

Fold down single triangle to hold it all together and form the pocket.

Let your imagination run wild and decorate. I used the Level 1 Hostess 6 x 6 designer series paper, and made some little Christmas pockets.

Hope you enjoy making them.

Finally Back

Request for recipe of the little handbag. They are so easy Kaylene, you won't think I'm clever anymore.

Cut scraps of card stock 5" x 1 1/2", then score at 1 1/2", 2 1/2" and 4".
Then use your corner rounder punch and punch the 2 front corners. (the shortest distance to the first score line. 1")
Stamp with Boho background in black.
Then cut a piece of basic black cardstock 5" x 3/8".
Adhere to middle of handbag base. Don't score this piece, just fold as you stick it down to the handbag.
To hold together I used 1 flower from the Trio flower punch, and 1 brad. I pierced hole through all layers, then added brad. For the handle, use a small piece of basic black grosgrain 1/4" ribbon. Pierce a hole on either side of the cardstock at the front, on the fold line, thread ribbon through and tie a small know. Do this before you add the brad.

Hope that makes sense to you all. I thank splitcoaststampers and other bloggers for all the ideas.

Cardstock cut size. Then scored at measurements.

Regional Swaps

I have been trying to come up with something different for my Regional swaps, and have put a few different things together. What do you think? Please give me your opinion. I know any little thing that you don't make yourself and someone else does the thinking, its great, but not sure. Trying to use scraps as well, so you all get an idea for using your scraps up.

These are gorgeous little hand bags, that you can put sweet in and give to your friends or the kids can give them to their teachers for end of term presents. Easy and fun to make.

This one is a sachet of drinking chocolate, wrapped with a Christmas cheer. Another great way to use up scraps, and to put your punches to work.

Outside cover for a Tic Tac box. Great way to dress up a packet of tic tac or any lollies you may wish. I have used punches again, and the fabulous D/S papers 6 x 6 that you get FREE when you qualify for a Level 1 hostess gift.

Inside, you just have to measure your lolly box.

I'm still working on a couple more so will post them when I have finished. Have a go, and see what you can come up with.

Christmas Card

Hi Everyone,

I have been away for a bit, travelling up to Alice Springs, to visit family and do a little sight seeing. The weather was hot, but fantastic, family excellent, and was great to spend time with them, and the time went to quickly. We went to Stanley Chasm, Simpson's Gap, and many other Gaps, and looked around the township of Alice. Very different from where we live, but a beautiful spot. We will be going back to do a camping trip around the Rock itself, and onto King's Canyon, so really looking forward to that. That's enough of the holidays, time to get back to the fun stuff.

A few of us have been continuing on with our All About Me Scrapbooks, and they are coming along great. We are up the the kids, so it is a little more involved.

On the 1st November, I am holding a Christmas Card day, it will be held at Murray Downs Resort. Spots filling fast, so anyone interested please contact me asap.

Here is one of the cards we will be doing.

Scanning the photo doesn't show how good this card looks. The dazzling diamonds have disappeared.
