Embrace Life

I am waiting for a class of girls to turn up, so thought I would share with you the most recent 12 x 12 Scrap page I have done.
This is of my daughter, Emily and grand-daughter, Maddi. Aunt and Niece.

I stamped the background with the branch stamp in Embrace life. Matted the photo with 2 different colours and tearing the C/S for a slight different effect on the base one.

Stamped the flower in 3 different colours, co-ordinating with the C/S I used, cut them out and dressed them up a bit. I used some dimensional to raise a couple.
For this button, cut out 5 x 1 3/8" circles from C/S and stuck them altogether with tombow glue and then punch out 2 holes for the button with the Crop-A-dile then added crystal effects.

Hoppy Scrap Book Album

This is a super Mini Scrapbook Album. I purchased the pattern off Andrea Walford, a Canda SU Demonstrator.

Her site is http://www.sunnystampinstore.com/StampClassbyEmailStore.htm

This is so much fun to make, and can be completed in a couple of hours. It uses all our fabulous SU products.
This is the Front cover of the Album when it is all folder up. How cute does it look.

Opening the Album, first page.

Third page.

The Album all opened out.

Couple of the side pages fold back, so you can see the other sides.

And the secret pockets, (there are 4 in total) where you could journal, or put more pictures.

I will be doing couple of classes on this Album, so if you are interested, contact me, otherwise will post the information at a later date.

A Swap within our Group

This is my swap card for our very small group. We had to come up with something using a stamp set from the Summer Mini. I have to thank Splitcoasterstampers for my inspiration - Gretchen Barron. The link below. This is a very bright card, but I feel it is a happy and feel good card.

Stamp: Razzle Dazzle 117709 - 33.95
Paper: Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Yo Yo Yellow, Whisper White and Glossy White
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Re-inkers Tempting turquoise, Only Orange, Real Red, Yo Yo Yellow
Accessories: Border Eyelet Punch, Real Red Polk-Dot Ribbon, Dimensionals, Aqua Painter, White E/B powder, Buddy, Heat Tool, Cutter, Stampin' Write Markers.

To do the centre piece, I used glossy white paper. Emboss your image onto the glossy paper with either white embossing pwder or clear embossing powder, what ever you prefer. When dry, Spray it with a fine mist of water and then use your aqua painter and drop/paint with your re-inkers and let the ink run. Dab off excess water/ink with a paper towel. Blend colours to how you would like them. When dry polish with a tissue.

Background on whisper white paper, I used the stampin' Write marker and coloured straight onto the rubber stamp, starting with the lightess colour marker first, going through to the darkest. I had to repeat this 3 times, keeping the colours in order. Don't forget to huff on your inked stamp before you stamp, this moistens the ink so you don't have to hurry.

The rest is self explanatory.
All the links are below for you to look at.
