Thoughtful Branches - Stampin' Up!

This is my very first play with this beautiful set, which is only available for a very short month. Checkout my online store to purchase. www.nyobre.stampinup.net 

I stamped the trunk of the tree in Early Espresso, then the ground with Soft Suede. I then water coloured under the tree foliage in Soft Suede. I heat embossed with our new copper embossing powder, the sentiment and the tree foliage. I then used the beautiful branches framelites to cut out the foliage. Mounted the foliage with dimensionally.

Very simple card, but less is best sometimes.

Heat Embossing with Playful Backgrounds - Stampin' Up!

When I saw this layout created by the amazing Jacque Williams (Top New Zealand Demo) www.stamphappy.co.nz/category/scrapbook-corner I just had to ask her if I could share this with my Scrap-booking class. The generous Jacque was very happy to share. Thank You.

I change this a little as I didn't have some products on hand, but very happy with how it turned out. I heat embossed the white onto the basic black card stock, using the great new Stamp Set PLAYFUL BACKGROUNDS 141920 AUS $28.00

to add the flower images.

Added a little silver metallic thread

Oh Happy Day Card kit Stampin' Up!

A lovely day spent creating the Oh Happy Day card kit.  Happy ladies, laughing and some finished cards. Great way to create 20 cards with everything you need in 1 box. Fabulous gift idea for a crafting friend, or you could make them up and give as a finished gift.

Scrap Layout - Stampin' Up! - Playful Backgrounds and Embossing

It's raining and oh so wet, what better way to spend an afternoon, Scrapping with friends and learning new, well maybe old techniques.  We used the embossing folders in this class, and cut out circles, pasted them onto the black background and then put them through the big shot, using a embossing folder. Everyone loved it, and thought how easy, but very effective. Used a new stamp from the new current catalogue, Playful Backgrounds and used the best framelit ever, the new alphabet, large letters.  Everyone completed their layouts and went home very happy.

Scrap class with smooching acetate- Stampin' Up!

This great layout was created by Sue Eagle. Sue hadn't finished her page as she had to leave class early. Well done Sue for finishing your great layout, but especially for bringing it back so we could share it and give others motivation.

Stampin' Up! Playful Backgrounds - Cousins

This is our next Scrap booking day technique and double layout.  This is an old technique, that I had forgotten about and one of my great customers, showed me a card she created, so I thought Wow what a great idea for a layout.  Added with the wonder new stamp set Playful Backgrounds 141920 $28.00 AUS.  Thank you to Cheryl O'Brien for reminding me of this technique.

I also added the the great new Large Letters Framelits for the headings.  This framelit or the bundle are so worth the $$$$ that they cost, you will use them for many many cards and scrap layouts.
The side panels of the layouts are circles punched out with our circle punches and glued to the black background and then I put it through the big shot using the impression embossing folder.
