Back from Wicked

We have arrived safely home from Melbourne. Had a great night at the Soffitel on Collins, and went to Wicked. A very good show, wonderful costumes and excellent set. Packed house as usual, all came together at the end.

I have put together another couple of cards we will be making at the Birthday book day.

Yes this one is very similar to one I posted last week. I just changed the colours.

This is a very simply but effective card.

This is a simple card, but wanted to use some vellum and the bigshot.

The supernova is on the trees, doesn't show out much but does look really nice.

Birthday Book Completed

It has been a couple of days without a card. I have been putting the Birthday Book together instead. Yes, I have completed it. Yours will look similar to this. Everyone will get a different colour to work with, this will make it interesting and lots of ideas. So here is the first picture.

Sixth Card

This card I found surfing blogs and splitcoaststampers. I wanted to do a variety of cards to stretch everyone's ability and imagination. This is thanks to Beth Camp. This was fun to make, and you do a few different techniques all on the one card.

This is the front of the card. It is a trifold card, I added a band to keep it closed and a small tag to front for decoration.

This is the card open. The photo doesn't do the card justice, but it is really effective.

Shelli's card from Conference

I really loved this card when I saw Shelli assemble it at Conference. It has taken me awhile to have ago. I decided to turn it into a a Lavender Bag, but Oops, I over did the Lavender and it's everywhere, but smells good.

This is one special card, and a great little present for a friend.

Accessories: Kraft Taffeta Ribbon, Twill Tape, Needle & Thread and Lavender Oil (only a very little bit) ,Dress up ribbon, and I dyed the Twill & Ribbon in Coffee.

You need to put a pearl on the taffeta ribbon out of our Pretties Kit, but I have to much oil at this point.

Card Four

Today I have enjoyed a day with a few girls who are doing the All About Me Album. We are up to our other half, and that has been interesting. Most are getting really involved and enjoying the concept, others are loving it, but not getting as much done. BUT they assure me it will happen.
This is Carole and Sue enjoying the day.

Don't you just love Sue's new look. Sue (standing) has had a new hair cut, it has been long for years, and she had it pulled back in a ponytail. Now look at her, "Gorgeous" and lovin' it.
