Stampin' Up! Workshop at Port Broughton

I travelled over to Adelaide last week to have my back fixed, and stayed with my sister for a couple of days. My wonderful sister organized a Worksop for me at Port Broughton with some wonderful ladies that had some experience with card making. I did 2 scrapbook layouts, and the guests made a card. They were amazed with how I created the paper with the stamps.

Using the new background wood grain stamp to do the top half of the page, and gorgeous grunge for the bottom, co-ordinates with one of the Sale-A-Bration Petal Parade stamp sets.
I cut up the off cuts of the Petal Parade Designer Series Papers into little strips, and wove them like patchwork, ( as a lot the the guest were patchwork ladies).
Used the big shot with the co-ordinate card stock for the heading.
Used a lot of the same stamps and techniques for the 2nd page.
Both pages together.
Closed up of the embellishment. This idea came straight out of the main catalogue.
Waste not, want not, used the frayed pieces from the burlap ribbon to put behind the flowers.
Detailed shot of the woven patchwork, with the new metallic buttons. The twine is another FREE sale-A-Bration product.
Port Broughton will soon welcome there very own Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Lynette Little.  welcome aboard Lynette.
If anyone wishes to find out more about Sale-a-Bration contact me now.

Happy Stampin'

Cheryl
