Heat Embossing used for Scrap Book Layout

These couple of Scrap Booking pages were going to be demonstrated on the weekend, but will be a later date now. Using the co-ordinates card stock for the background, you can get a distressed look, especially designed for distressing. (Excellent product). Then with the Simply Scored plate I scored down the left side, creating an interesting feature. Cannot create a page without the Bigshot, I used the framelits to cut out all the flags under the photo, in all different designer series papers! and card stock? I heat embossed the greeting using one of our colourful embossing powders (tempting turquoise) and cut it out with deco labels framelits.  Embellished with our clay mould flowers, and coloured it with our re-inker.
The second page, I embossed our wonderful large background butterfly stamp in gold embossing powder, then rubbed it over with a dauber and ink. When I had the colour I liked, then just polished over the butterfly with a piece of paper towel to take excess ink off the gold embossing, making the butterfly shine. Used the bigshot again for the heading and the flag.
Double layout finished. Gorgeous Jordi, she was so happy, a few days with Nan and Pop.

Your turn now,

Happy Stampin'

Cheryl
